From the Minor7Flat5 label from spain, who already presented very attractive albums like the recent Anthony B. and Josie Mel releases, comes another hot release - "The Good, The Bad & The Blazin" a concept album for a virtual movie ft. Junior Kelly as "The Good", Bounty as "The Bad" and Capleton as "The Blazing" with 12 exclusive tracks completely reworked or re-recorded.

Okay, some name-dropping first, as this album features not only afore-mentioned top-artists but was also recorded at top-a-top studios by serious mixers and played by elite musicians:
Musicians: George "Dusty" Miller, Leroy "Horse Mouth" Wallace, Danny Bassie, Paul "Wrongmove" Crossdale, Lloyd "Obeah" Denton, Dean Frazer, Nambo Robinson, Dwight Richards, Sticky Uziah Thompson

Mixers: Lynford "Fatta" Marshall, Cegrica "Soljie" Hamilton, Brotherman

Now for the other facts. As already said before, the whole album is a concept album, layed out by labelowner Brotherman himself to be the Original Soundtrack for some virtual movie, where Junior Kelly, Bounty Killer and Capleton represent as "The Good, The Bad & The Blazin". A good amount of these tunes was already released on Minor7Flat5´s own riddims like the "Ivan", "Campo" and "Sunday" Riddims. Some of those were already voiced and released "as is" on the CD, some of them have not been available so far in that combination. All other riddims also seem to be from the Minor7Flat5 label, yet i do not know if they were already voiced and released or just recorded for the album.

Overall, that album is a very multi-faceted release that offers the one or other tread for every listener as you´ll find the best of roots´n conscious but dancehall tunes as well. Bounty Killer even appears with a Jungle-Tune on "Hey Yo Yallo", which is my personal favourite for its uniqueness. If you do not already have it - i´m sure you´ll want to get it! 9 out of 10 point str8!!
