21. Summerjam Festival 2006 in Cologne Bay! After we just celebrated the 20th anniversary in 2005 we are heading into a new decate of another 20 years coming up. And who could lead into this new decade better than the sons and daughters of the artists that have been with us for the past 20 years!
21th Summerjam Festival
Hence the lineup for this years Summerjam is one of a kind. Artist like
Ziggy Marley,
Damian Jr.Gong Marley - Sons of Bob Marley - and
Andrew Tosh - son of Peter Tosh - will introduce the new decade of Summerjam Festivals. The youngest child of the musical Marley family - Damian Jr.Gong Marley - who just finished his tremendous German Tour, will perform at Summerjam. So for all the fans that didnīt get a ticket for the sold out German Tour, will get another chance to see the
Grammy Winner for the best Reggae Album within the past 10 years.
Welcome to Jamrock! Ziggy Marley and Peter Tosh will introduce us to their latest album works.
The lineup for this year has an international focus. New Artist like
Elephant Man,
T.O.K. and
Warrior King will rock the dancehall crowd whilst Artist like
Jr. Kelly,
Morgan Heritage,
I-Wayne,
Luciano and many more will provide us with Roots and Conscious style. Artist like
Jimmy Cliff,
I-Jahman Levi and
Toots & The Maytals will bring back these good old Reggae memories and last but not least some outstanding German Artist like
Joy Denalane,
Chulcha Candela and
Patrice will abduct us into the bubbling German Reggae scene.
The overall picture promises to be another great
Summerjam Party for 2006! So people get ready!
